Eyes on the scene.

Retriever

Bring it home.

When sonr says it's safe, pick up the machine and take it to a sonr hub or its owner, following steps sent only to you.

Needs

A valid license, an insured vehicle with room for the device, and a background check after you sign up.

Service engineer

Fix it on site.

Diagnose, safely disengage, repair or prep robotaxis, robots and drones. EV, robotics, drone and electrical skills wanted.

Needs

Hands-on experience. We check certifications after you sign up.

How jobs work

See the pay before you go.

  1. A job pops up near you.

Only within the distance you choose.

    Then you decide.

  3. Take it or skip it.

    You choose every job.

  4. Do the job, snap the photos.

The app walks you through it.

  5. Get paid per job.

Pay and payout details are shown before you finish setup.

Why members join

We'll never ask for your Uber, Lyft or DoorDash login.

Questions

Do I have to stop driving for Uber or DoorDash?

No. Keep your apps. sonr jobs come when you're nearby, and you choose which ones to take.

How much does it pay?

Pay depends on the job: spotting, retrieving or service work. You'll see the exact pay before you accept.

When do I get paid?

Payout timing and any fees are shown before you finish setup.

Will I have to touch anything dangerous?

Spotters never touch, move or switch off a machine. Retrievers act only after sonr says it's safe. Anyone can turn down a job.

Am I an employee?

No. Members are independent contractors who set their own hours and pick their own jobs.

Do I need a car?

Not to be a spotter. Retrievers need an insured vehicle with room for the device.

Is there a background check?

Yes, for retrievers and service engineers. It happens after sign-up, through a licensed screening company, and only with your written consent.

I run a towing or courier business. Can my drivers join?

Yes. Check the business box in the form and we'll follow up about insurance and adding your drivers.
