What these terms cover

These terms apply when you use sonr.co, call or text sonr at 424-484-sonr (424-484-7667), or send us one of our forms. "sonr", "we" and "us" mean sonr LLC. "You" means anyone using these services. By using them, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.

Not an emergency service

sonr recovers robotaxis, delivery robots, drones and humanoid robots that are stuck, crashed or down. We don't dispatch police, fire or medical help. If anyone is hurt, or you see fire, smoke, sparks or downed power lines, call 911 first.

We work to recover every machine reported to us, but we don't promise a response time or that a member will be available in your area.

Reporting a machine

  • Never touch, move, lift or switch off a machine. Stay back and stay out of the road. Damaged batteries can catch fire.
  • Only take photos from where you're standing, and only if it's safe.
  • Tell us what you actually see. Don't send false or prank reports.

When you report a machine, you let us use your report, photos and location to recover it, and to share them with the machine's owner, insurers and police as described in our privacy policy.

Text messages

sonr runs two text message programs from 424-484-7667:

  • Report updates. Questions and status updates about a machine you reported, such as your case number, when a member is on the way, and when the case is closed.
  • Network alerts. If you join the sonr network and agree to texts, alerts about nearby jobs and messages about your account.

How you agree. By texting sonr first, by saying yes when we ask on a call, or by checking the text box on one of our forms, you agree to these terms and our privacy policy. Agreeing to receive texts is never required to report a machine or to join the network.

How often. Message frequency varies. A report usually brings 2 to 6 messages. Message and data rates may apply.

Help and stopping. Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP at any time to stop. We'll send one message confirming you've opted out, and then no more. Reply START to sign up again. You can also reach us at hello@sonr.co.

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We never share your mobile number or your consent to receive texts with third parties for marketing purposes. See our privacy policy.

Phone calls

Calls to 424-484-sonr are answered by an automated system that asks a few short questions about the machine, its location and other details to try to identify it and locate it. Your answers are recorded and transcribed to process your report. If you'd rather not be recorded, you can text us instead.

Joining the search and recovery network

Signing up on our join page is an initial request to join, not a job offer, employment or a contract. Members are independent contractors who choose their own jobs, under a separate agreement they will sign before their first job following any background and compliance checks. During the initial network rollout, priority will be given to contractors who are located in jurisdictions where sonr has secured recovery contracts with fleet operators.

Fleet inquiries

Sending us a fleet inquiry starts a conversation. It doesn't create a service agreement. Recovery services for fleet operators are covered by a separate written contract.

Using sonr

  • Don't send fake, automated or abusive form submissions.
  • Don't try to break, overload or get around the security of our website or phone line.
  • Don't copy personal information from our services.

The sonr name, logo, website design, text and images belong to sonr. You may share links to our pages, but not reuse our brand or content as your own.

Limits of our responsibility

We provide our website, phone line and text line as they are, and we can't promise they'll always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, sonr isn't responsible for indirect or consequential losses that come from using them, and nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the law that can't be limited.

Changes

If we change these terms, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Using our services after a change means you accept the updated terms.
